About Our College
Founded in 1972 by Shri Jain Sewa Samiti’s, Vidya Niketan High School & Jr. College of Science, Chandrapur is an English Medium Co-educational School with a total strength of about 3,000 students. The Vidya Niketan High School & Jr. College of Science, Chandrapur is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune and prepares students for the X & XII std. examination of Maharashtra Board. Vidya Niketan Jr. College of Science comprising Std. XI and Std. XII following state Syllabus. First Recognition in 1990-91 vide letter No. 8878/90. Jr. College at present is having 4 sections of Science stream and one section for Commerce stream (English Medium) seats will only be increased after taking permission from education department.
Principal Desk
In order to adequately respond to the challenges of such a complex Institution, the Management has brought about organization restructuring. The academic and administrative operations of the School will now be managed by two independent Heads, Head–Academic and Head–Administration. This significant development will allow the Head-Academics to be fully devoted to enhancing the efficiency and quality of all academic programs including the moral education and vocational training.
